- လူသားမ်ိဳးႏြယ္က ' စစ္ ' ကို အဆံုးသတ္ရင္သတ္။ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ပါက ' စစ္ ' က လူသားမ်ိဳးႏြယ္ကို အဆံုးသတ္ပစ္လိုက္မွာပဲ။
Mankind must put an end war or war will but an end to mankind.
- သင္႔ပါရမီစြမ္းရည္ ဘယ္ေလာက္ရွိတာက အဓိကမဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ သင္႔ပါရမီကို ဘယ္လို သင္အသံုးခ်မလဲဆိုတာပဲ အေရးႀကီးတယ္။
It is not the size of your talent; It is what you do with it.
- မင္းလုပ္နိုင္သေလာက္ပဲလုပ္ပါ။ မင္းလုပ္သေလာက္နဲ႔ လံုေလာက္ပါတယ္။
All you can do is all you can do, but all you can do is enough!
- မင္းအခု စလုပ္လိုက္ပါ၊ မင္းဘယ္ေတာ႔မွ ေနာက္မက်ပါဘူး။ အခုမလုပ္ရင္ေတာ႔ ေနာက္က်သြားၿပီ။
If you start now you will never late. But if you don't start now, you will be late.
- ရင္းနီးမႈမွ အားမနာမႈတို႔၊ အထင္ေသးမႈတို႔ ျဖစ္ေပၚလာသည္။
Familiarity breed contempt.
- ကေလးငယ္မ်ားကို စကားေျပာတတ္ေအာင္ သင္ေပးလို႔ရသလိုပဲ။ သတၱိရွိေအာင္လည္း သင္ေပးလို႔ ရပါတယ္။
Courage may be tough, as a child is thought to speak.
- ေၾကာက္စရာေကာင္းတာ ေသျခင္း မဟုတ္ပါဘူး၊ ေသလုေမွ်ာပါးျဖစ္ေနတဲ႔ အခ်ိန္ပါ။
It is not death, but dying which is terrible.
- ေသလိုက္ဖို႔ေကာင္းတဲ႔ အလုပ္တစ္ခုကို မျပဳလုပ္မိခင္မွာ ေသသြားတာေကာင္းတယ္။
It is good to die before one has done, anything deserving death.
- ႀကိဳက္သေလာက္ဆူပါ၊ ဆဲပါ ကၽြႏု္ပ္ မနာပါ။ ကၽြႏု္ပ္အတြက္ အက်ိဳးမ်ားပါ၏။
A bused me as often as you will it is often a beanie than any injury.
- ေရႊ႕ဆိုင္းျခင္းကား အခ်ိန္သူခိုးျဖစ္၏။
Procrastination is the thief of time.
- ေလာကႀကီးကို အေတြးအေခၚမ်ားက စိုးမိုးထားသည္။
Thoughts rule the world.
- မနက္ျဖန္မွ၊ မနက္ျဖန္မွ၊ ဆိုတာ ဒီေန႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ ဒါလူပ်င္းေတြသာ ေျပာတတ္တဲ႔ စကားပါ။
Tomorrow, tomorrow, not today. Hear the lazy people say.
- ဘယ္သူဟာပညာရွိလဲ? ့တစ္ေယာက္ေယာက္ဆီမွာ အၿမဲေလ႔လာဆည္းပူးေနတဲ႔သူဟာ ပညာရွိပါပဲ။
Who is wise? He that learns from everyone.
- ဘယ္သူဟာ အစြမ္းထက္သလဲ? တည္႔မက္ျခင္းကို ထိန္းသိမ္းနိုင္သူဟာ အစြမ္းထက္သူပါပဲ။
Who is powerful? He that governs his passion.
- ဆိတ္ဆိတ္ေန ေထာင္တန္။
Silence is worth a thousand places of gold or silver.
- အိမ္ဟူသည္ သမီးငယ္အတြက္ အက်ဥ္းေထာင္၊ မိခင္အတြက္ေတာ႔ အလုပ္ရံု။
Home is the girl's prison and the woman's workhouse.
- အခ်စ္ဆိုတာ လူေပၚေၾကာ႔ေတြအတြက္ အလုပ္အကိုင္တစ္ခုျဖစ္သလို၊ စစ္ပြဲဆင္ႏြဲသူမ်ားအတြက္ အပန္းေျဖမႈတစ္ခုျဖစ္တယ္။ ( ဒါေပမယ္႔ ) မင္းစိုးရာဇာမ်ားအတြက္ေတာ႔ ပ်က္စီးရာပ်က္စီးေၾကာင္း တစ္ခုပဲ။
Love is the idler's occupation. The warrior's relaxation, and the sovereign's ruination.
- အခ်စ္မီးေတာက္မီးလွ်ံမ်ား ၿငိမ္းသြားၿပီးေနာက္တြင္ မီးၾကြင္းမီးစမ်ားသာက်န္ခဲ႔မည္။ ေရႊ မက်န္ခဲ႔ပါ။

- အခ်စ္ = ျပင္းထန္ေသာ စိတ္ေရာဂါတစ္ခု။
Love. A grave mental disease.
- ရွာေဖြရယူေသာအခ်စ္သည္ေကာင္း၏၊ သို႔ေသာ္ ေတြ႔ရွိေသာအခ်စ္က ပိုေကာင္း၏။
Love sought out is good, but love discovered is better.
- ဗုဒၶဟူးေန႔က မင္းကိုငါခ်စ္တယ္။ ၾကာသပေတးေန႔က် မင္းကို္မခ်စ္ေတာ႔ဘူး။ အဲဒါအမွန္ပဲ။
And if I loved you wednesday. I do not love you Thursday. So much is truth.
- သစ္ဆံုသည္ ရဲတင္းကို ပ်က္ေစ၏။ ဆာေလာင္မႈသည္ အခ်စ္ကို ပ်က္ေစ၏။
The tree knit spoils the ace, hunger spoils love.
